I've just attended Leong kiat and Karris wedding last night at Orchard Hotel. I've never met him at least 3 years. Haha.. Anyway I was invited to his wedding together with 7 others formal poly-MMC gang except for chris's wife, arlene who was from CCS.
This is the first time i attended a "military wedding ceremony". LK is a full-time serviceman in Guards and his buddies were there to perform the ceremony. They were doing some kinda sword-entry ceremony.. watever. haha. And demanded the LK to do squads while carrying the bride.
Hmm... i didnt know Christian are allow to drink haha.. Anyway, our table were one of those that requested the most wine and beer. All thanks to the heavy wine-drinker, Arlene, and heavy beer drinker, Chris, Eugene and Desmond. Not including me, coz i am both. HAHA. Order until the waitress had to say, "wine serving will be stop temporary". And later came back and said there is not more wine.
Lol.. after saying goodbye to the married couple, the rest of us went on for more drinks at the nearby pub. It was quite a nice pub with live music. The singer was a former Singapore Idol contestant, NANA. She got a damn powerful voice that got everyone in pub mesmerised. We stayed till 2am and headed home. It don't end there.... our mmc-coordinator, desmond, is planning for another session on the 29th June.
Anyone coming?

To answer your question, yes, it is permissible for christians to drink. Our very basis of our faith includes the holy communion of sharing bread and drinking of wine. But of course, getting drunk is another matter...
I apologise for the lack of wine! i didn't know my F&B coordinator stopped the wine after 42 opened bottles. If I had known, i would had let the bartender carry on opening. But nevertheless, my F&B guy did a great job and helped me save a few thousand bucks! I'm sure the beer wasn't lacking.
Once again, thanks for being there. I won't be able to join you guys for a gathering because i'll be flying to US for my honeymoon on the 29th!
Thanks for inviting me. No problem with the wine actually. I guess the guys havent meet up for a long time, so just drink a little more. Good that you had a stop point for the wine. I think you had already spend quite a bit for this wedding and its understandably that your F&B guy help on it. :P
We can always come out another time.... Must come out lah..else ur BB come liao no time for friends.
